What Products To Use For A Clean Beauty Routine?

Why Have A Clean Beauty Routine?

The beauty of more natural, cleaner products is that they work for men, women, and children; they are versatile and get used.

When asked what products I use for a Cleaner beauty routine, I roll off a few much-used products and wax lyrical about all the oils I love, and I make it brief.

Unless you have some particular issue that needs addressing with targeted products, you don’t need to do all that much daily.

Before I started looking at ingredients and taking a cleaner approach to what I bought, I was in an endless cycle of buying one thing after another, only to relegate them half-used in an ever-growing graveyard of discarded creams, lotions, hair products, etc. They didn’t work, irritated me, I didn’t like them, and on to the next.

I know I’m not alone in this experience; it wastes time, money, and resources, not to mention frustration in finding products that deliver results.

Going Green and Clean made me think about what I was buying and why. What did the ingredients do? I could research the plants and find their properties and benefits, and I fell in love with the connection to nature. I hope you do, too.

I decided to list all the products I use regularly. It was a sobering experience, as despite my daughter having long called my bathroom ‘The Shop,’ it is a lot of product when you list it out.

I would advise you to do the same to see what you are buying, using, or wasting to simplify what you have and streamline your routine.

Natural Clean Green Products for the Face.

A lot of face Products will stay on your skin all day. These are the products you want to be cleaner. Wash off products you may have more leeway with, but I often find more traditionally formulated cleansers harsher, so experiment to see what works for you.

Moisturizers with an SPF are not FDA-regulated, whereas Sunscreens are. Choose clean sunscreens to ensure the SPF number is what it says.

Viva Naturals Organic Coconut oil for cleansing. This should be Virgin, Organic, cold-pressed, and unrefined.

Jojoba oil Face moisturizer or cleanse. It can be used for hair, too.

Josie Maran, Argan Oil, moisturizer. Great for hair, too.

Hemp butter is a significant body moisturizer.

Radha Beauty Tea Tree Oil soothes pimples.

Drunk Elephant, Peke Bar. Facial soap.

Burt Bees gentle foaming cleanser with Royal jelly.

Zum Face, sugar Facial scrub.

Cotz, Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 35.

FaceTory Portable Beauty Fridge.

Natural products for a Clean Mouth.

I love a bamboo toothbrush. It looks nice, is biodegradable, and stops a mountain of plastic from entering landfills. I also love electric toothbrushes; look for them made of sustainable materials. We put toothpaste and mouthwash in our mouths, so look for the most ingredients possible. I always try different brands; when I finish one, I try another!

Hello, toothpaste,

Coconut oil for oil pulling.

Hello, naturally fresh antiseptic mouthwash.

Mastermedi, tongue scraper.

Bamboo toothbrush

Bamboo electric toothbrush

Natural products for a clean body.

Natural Clean Green Hair Products.

When you start to use more natural hair products, it will take a while for your hair to adjust, but it is well worth persevering. You can try using clay detox to pull toxins from your hair and scalp to help make the transition easier. I use The Zen Detox by Morocco Method.

Makeup is left on all day and well into the night. It is, therefore, essential to look for products that won’t irritate or cause harm to you or your skin.

More and more good makeup for your skin is formulated, so pay attention to the ingredient list and read the brand’s mission statements.

  • Bare Minerals, Original SPF 15 Mineral Powder Foundation.

Please remember to use up all your old products where possible so you don’t waste them and don’t obsess over trying to be perfect. Finding more natural products should be a pleasure and a connection to yourself. There isn’t a right or wrong way to do it.
