This detoxifying charcoal soap recipe makes four 4oz bars!
Ingredients:
- Shea Butter Soap Base* – 1 lb
- Activated Charcoal Powder*- 2 tablespoons
- Sea Salt* – 1/2 cup – more or less.
- Essential Oils* (optional) – 10-15 drops (e.g., tea tree oil, lavender oil)
Equipment:
- Double boiler* or microwave-safe bowl
- Silicone soap mold*
- Stirring utensil*
- Measuring spoons*
Instructions:
- Melt the Soap Base:
- Cut the shea butter soap base* into small chunks for easier melting.
- Melt the soap base in a double boiler or the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.
- Add Activated Charcoal:
- Once the soap base is melted, slowly add the activated charcoal powder*. Stir continuously to ensure the charcoal is evenly distributed.
- Incorporate Sea Salt:
