Get 11 Simple Clean Beauty Skincare Habits And Tips.

Caring for your skin doesn’t have to be complicated. Even though we often feel pressured to have a 10-12-step skincare routine and are bombarded with an ever-growing array of new and fabulous products to try, it is time to pare back, take a deep breath, and follow simple steps that will still leave your skin healthy, and glowing.

Have you ever asked an older woman who had gorgeous skin, well into her eighties, what her secret was, or thought someone in their fifties was in their thirties? We’ve all had that experience, yet there was never a secret to their youthful appearance, no magical set of products, or time-consuming routine.

I am always amazed at the number of people with gorgeous complexions who seemingly do very little. So what do they do? They have certain habits and a few tricks and tips, don’t stress about being perfect, and are often simple and minimal in their approach. The secret to beautiful skin is often in simple, small daily habits done consistently over the years.

So here are eleven hacks to get that gorgeous, soft, clear complexion without too much fuss!

The Best Simple Tips And Habits For Naturally Beautiful Skin!

Get beautiful With Luke-Warm Or Cold Showers!

  1. Take warm or cold showers; hot water can dry the skin, while cold water tightens the pores, refreshes, and leaves you looking flushed, revived, and naturally glowing. Use shower filters to keep your water as clean and healthy as possible; filtering out chemical residues can work wonders for your complexion and skin quality.

Drink Water For Gorgeous Skin!

  • 2. Speaking about water, drink your 64oz daily. We’ve all heard it, but it’s a difficult habit to keep up. Get the perfect water bottle to keep you on track, and keep a jug of filtered water in the fridge. When water tastes better, it is so much easier to drink. When you stick to this habit, you will look significantly better, and it’s such a simple thing!

Keep Calm!

  • 3. Keep calm. Stress and sleepless nights cause dull skin and dark undereye circles and can cause the skin to go haywire. Worried, anxious expressions also cause more wrinkling in the skin. Relax the facial muscles using facial tools to target rigid, tense muscles. Make sure to do sleep or morning meditations to unwind, and consider natural herbs, like Ashwagandha, to help you relax.

Don’t Touch Your Face!

  • 4. While picking at pimples, spots, and scabs is tempting yet somewhat gross, you are just asking for trouble. Keep your hands away from your face. Even rubbing at tired eyes pulls and stretches the skin. Leave your skin alone, dap on some Tea Tree oil on problem blemishes or cuts, and try using Hempseed oil, which can be a game-changer for problematic skin.

DIY Face Masks!

  • 5. Make simple DIY face masks. Make face masks from Clay, Charcoal, or ingredients like raw honey. Use natural elements and apply them once a week. Done regularly, you’ll see a real difference in the quality of your skin.

Sleep On Silk!

  • 6. Sleep on silk pillowcases. Not only is this good for keeping hair tamed and hydrated, but it also stops the skin from drying out and dramatically reduces wrinkles from sleeping, which can later set into the skin. Skin glides on the silk and doesn’t pull moisture from the face. If you have longer hair, pull it back loosely in silk scrunchies to prevent the oil or hair products from touching your face.

Plant Oils For Skin Care!

  • 7. Don’t be afraid of using oil on your skin. Your body and face will benefit massively from rich plant oils, which hydrate and seal moisture into the skin. Even oily skin benefits from plant oils, like Jojoba, Argan, or Coconut, as they balance the skin’s sebum production. Protect Your Skin!

  • 8. Keep your skin out of the sun. While many moisturizers use an SPF, they aren’t regulated by the FDA. You need to wear broad-spectrum mineral sunscreens to ensure you have the correct amount of SPF on your face and try to get at least a factor of 30. Luckily, many excellent clean formulations glide on, are tinted, and feel like light makeup rather than the thick sunscreens we were used to. Find out which are the best natural mineral sunscreens for you.

Tighten And Tone!

9. You might know the trick of plunging your face into a sink of ice cubes to get rid of puffy morning skin and tighten your look. While this is refreshing and works well to perk up your face, it is slightly impractical. Try the ice rollers that are all the rage, pop them in the freezer, and you have a cooling, sculpting, ice-cold tool to wake up a tired complexion!

Rosewater.

10. Spritz your face liberally with Rosewater. Rose water is a centuries-old remedy for the skin and a staple of legendary beauties like Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt, who was famous for her natural beauty routine!

Not only does it smell amazing, but it also has many skincare benefits. It tones and moisturizes and gives the skin much-needed nutrient-packed hydration throughout the day. Learn more about the many benefits of Rose water for gorgeous skin!

Beauty Sleep!

11. Get your beauty sleep. Enough sleep makes a massive difference in your skin. Keep your room cool, cover your eyes with a silk eye mask that protects the eyes, and aim for 8-9 hours of sleep a night. You won’t just look better, but you’ll feel better too!

And remember, having beautiful skin is mainly about the inner glow that comes from being authentic in who you are. Taking care of your skin signals to yourself that you care about yourself. Do it with simple self-care habits that add joy to your life, not steal it.
