How To Make Natural Deodorant Recipes Using Magnesium!

If you are looking for a simple, more natural way of living, making homemade beauty products can help you feel more in control of what you put on your body.

One of the first products many people make is natural deodorants. DIY deodorant recipes have many benefits, not least because you can tweak the ingredients to suit you. There are soothing, moisturizing oils, different butter types, and fragrant essential oils known for their ability to zap odor!

One of the most significant drawbacks for many people using DIY recipes is baking soda. While this ingredient works well to absorb odor, keeping fridges odor-free is fine for many people if it is formulated in the correct proportions; however, due to its pH value, it can cause redness and irritation.

Baking Soda has a PH value of 9, whereas the skin’s value is closer to 4.2. to 5.6. This is where many problems occur, so if you have irritation issues, you need to look at adding an ingredient like Magnesium instead!

Why Make A Natural Deodorant With Magnesium?

Magnesium is an essential and beneficial mineral that doesn’t get as much recognition as calcium. Well, over half the US population is, to some extent, deficient in this mineral.

Magnesium can have many benefits when used topically. It works better when absorbed this way, making it an ideal substance for DIY deodorant recipes.

Bathing in Magnesium flakes* and applying Magnesium oil* as a spray can significantly minimize odor. A cup of magnesium chloride added to a warm bath is soothing and relaxing, and it can reduce muscle tension and help with sleep.

Absorbing Magnesium more regularly can balance the body’s deficiencies; many people report that it is enough to significantly reduce their body odor.

Spraying magnesium oil also works well to decrease odor, but it can sting a little at first, so it’s best to make a DIY spray incorporating other ingredients.

You can also bathe in Dead Sea salts, which contain Magnesium!
